A review of 2012 in Weddings!

Wow what an amazing year 2012 has been for Devonshire Photographic, shooting the first wedding of the year in March at the gorgeous Clandon Park, and going on to work at some amazing venues throughout the year; including Rhinefield House Hotel, The Elvetham, Old Thorns to name but a few.

This year has also seen the introduction of an assistant, James who now works with me shooting weddings, and graphic designer Louise has also joined the team as an album designer, both are doing a fantastic job and I couldn’t have had such a great year without them so many thanks to you both.

Looking back on these images from the year I must say I have a few highlights that have helped make it an unforgettable year. In May I was luckily enough to photograph Ria & Chris’ wedding at the amazing Royal Chapel, Windsor. Now this in itself was pretty unforgettable but as we were waiting for Ria to arrive the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Fly Pass flew over, it was quite incredible, and it’s something I won’t forget.

Also in May I headed off to Devon for my first Beach Wedding…and what a wedding it was! Following on from a very wet April we got the hottest weekend of the year for Tori & Greg’s big day. It was an incredible day and the highs of 30 degrees saw a few pink faces 🙂

2012 also saw Devonshire Photographic listed as a preferred supplier at Old Thorns, an amazing wedding venue in Liphook. I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time there again in 2012 and can’t wait to go back again in this year. Everything about the venue makes it an absolute joy to work at and I know my couples who were married there this year will agree.

As well as being part of these great weddings I’ve also been part of some fantastic big days at Rivervale Barn, where a rainy October day didn’t stop us getting some fantastic photos and Beuamont House where I happened to be photographing the wedding of an old family friend and had no idea until the big day.

I can’t mention all the weddings this year as I’d be here all day so these are just a few of my highlights, every wedding I work on is special to me as I get to share in a couple’s big day. From planning their big day until planning their wedding album I go on an amazing journey with every couple I work with and it really is pleasure. So to all the new Mr & Mrs’ I’ve worked with in 2012, a huge congratulations I hope 2013 brings you happiness and to all my 2013 couples, I cannot wait to be part of your big day!!!
