Saturday 16th April saw Ollie & Lauren’s big day! And what a wonderful day it was!
I studied my degree with Ollie and was over the moon when he & Lauren asked me to be part of their big day! Photographing any wedding is special but when it’s for a couple you know it’s even more so.
The day started at Lauren’s parents house where her and the girls were busy getting ready for the big day. While James headed off to meet Ollie and the boys at the church who awaited the arrival of Lauren and the girls; who arrived in style in Ollie’s Ford Capri and a friend’s Mustang!
After their lovely ceremony at Hawley church the couple headed off to Camberley Heath Golf Club for their reception and we managed to dodge the rain showers to get all their photographs done outside 🙂
There’s often many firsts at weddings, and this was the first time I’d ever seen a bride dance and sing her way into the wedding breakfast- well done Lauren!
There were many more to follow……. the first time I’d seen a groom do his speech all in rhyme and the first time a guest had rapped a wedding speech! Later on in the evening we even had the first time a bride & her sister had danced on chairs to R Kelly!
What a truly amazing day for a lovely couple!
