Friday 29th August saw Emily & Darren’s big day at the stunning Elvetham Hotel. After being there only a couple of weeks beforehand I couldn’t wait to go back, not only is it an amazing venue but the staff are amazing, always on hand for the guests, bride & groom and me 🙂
I started the day meeting Emily as she got ready in the Seymour suite before heading down to catch Darren and the boys before they headed off on the London Bus for the church.
The couple had a lovely ceremony, followed by confetti shots at the church before heading off to their venue….
Only they didn’t arrive at the Elvetham in the wedding car they had left in, they landed in a surprise helicopter! It was a fantastic entrance that no-one was expecting and was a real talking point of the day. I love the way the chopper is at the back of the group shot 😉
They had some lovely emotional and funny after dinner speeches followed by their cake cutting and first dance.
It was a great day and a real honour to be part of, congratulations Mr & Mrs Stevenson…
The beautiful flowers were by the talented ladies from White Lilac, with evening entertainment by Silverball Leisure.
