A few weeks ago I photographed a Cup Cake Decorating party hosted by Emma of Cake Your Day! And wow what great fun it was, I wish they had these when I was a kid 😉

All of the children involved had a great time and I’d highly recommend the parties to anyone looking for something a little different, here’s a little bit more info on the parties and a few shots too….

Looking for something different to do for your son or daughter’s birthday party? Well, why not have a Cake Your Day cupcake decorating party? Not only are the parties great fun for all involved, but allow the children to use their creativity and teach them a new skill for life. As an added bonus it is hassle free for the parent’s as they arrange everything and even do all the tidying up.

The parties are great for children aged 5 years and above and can be adapted accordingly to the age group and any specific theme you may have.

Cake Your Day provide all the equipment and ingredients that the children will need to use during the 1.5 hour party, including lots of different colour buttercream, sprinkles, sweets and sugarpaste to make their own decorations.

6 cupcakes per child to decorate and take home in a box

Aprons to use during the party

Name badges

Certificate for each child

A cake your day cookie mix jar for each child to take home

The cost for the party is £150 for a minimum of 6 children plus £20 per extra child. All you need to provide is a table big enough for the number of children attending.
