Well where on earth do I start with reviewing 2013? It’s been amazing 🙂 myself and assistant James have had the pleasure of being part of some truly magnificent weddings.
After the birth of my baby boy in February I decided to take it easy during 2013, so I only shot 17 wonderful weddings, not quite taking it easy but so worth it!
The year started in April with Chantal & Mark’s wedding at the fantastic Trunkwell House near Reading when my little man was only 9 weeks old, it was fantastic to get back to work and this special day was a great day to start!
In May we had the most amazing photo bomb from none other than Bruce Forsyth himself whilst photographing Gavin & Cass’ wedding at the amazing Wentworth Golf Club. I was also lucky enough to photograph the wedding of an old school friend in May, and the wedding even made it onto a fantastic wedding blog!
In June we shot our first wedding at new venue Cowarth Park which was a great day full of lots and lots of laughter!
July saw me back at Old Thorns where I am a preferred supplier, it was great to be back and the team were as welcoming as ever, I can’t wait to photograph there again this year…. they’ll be sick of me as I’m there quite a lot 😉
In August we were lucky enough to be part of Craig & Stef’s big day at the gorgeous Oakley Hall, Craig is an old school friend of mine and it was a privilege to be part of their big day. At the end of the month we travelled to Coventry for a very different wedding at the wonderful Coombe Abbey.
After having september off weddings to spend time with my little man October started with Gemma & Waj’s wonderful wedding at Painshill Park. This wedding was also featured on a wedding blog and I was asked by the venue to become one of their preferred suppliers 🙂 for those of you that are in the industry you’ll know this is a pretty big deal and something I’m very proud of.
In November we were back at Old Thorns for Sophie & Peter’s big day which was beautiful, even though it was bitterly cold we still ventured out onto the golf club for some photos and got some great group shots in front of the fire places.
And now onto December and what a beautiful winter wedding! Suzanne & Stuart’s big day at Wotton House in Dorking was wonderful, despite it getting dark quite early we managed to get some beautiful shots in the stunning grounds and even got the guests outside for some group shots!
As well as being part of all of these wonderful weddings Devonshire Photographic have also had images featured on the front cover of Starting Together magazine and Berkshire Wedding fairs brochure.
We will continue to be a preferred supplier at the fantastic Old Thorns in Liphook and can’t wait to do our first wedding fair at new venue Painshill Park in March!
Have a very Happy New Year and if Devonshire Photographic are booked for your 2014 wedding we can’t wait to be part of it!!!
